Our History

Hummingbird Soap Studio is a Barbadian owned business which was established in 2012.  The business was originally conceptualized by my daughter, who at the time wanted a project that we could do together on evenings after school.  We initially started with melt and pour soap, which we would give to family and friends for special occurs.  As time went by and we did further research on soap making we came to realize that the world of soap making was very versatile with the different methods of soap making, many techniques and endless levels of creativity that makes the soap making industry awesome!!!

Having noted the above further steps were taken to learn as much as we could on all things soap making.  Other soap related projects were also incorporation into Hummingbird Soap Studio’s portfolio over the years. These products include scrubs, lotions, deodorants, candles.  Our core interest has always been on utilizing materials that can be easy sourced and reduce the carbon imprint on the planet.  Some of the additives which are used in our crafting process are sourced right here in our garden.
