Refund Policy 

All of the products which are sold by Hummingbird Soap Studio are handcrafted here in Barbados with special emphases given to the type of raw material that are selected to create each product.  Please note that nut oils (Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Almond Oil, etc.), clays, butters, fragrance and essential oils and other additives are used in almost all of our products.  Please ensure that you read the information that is provided for each item before purchase.

Our policy on returning items must meet the following criteria:

  • Refunds will be issued if the product in question has not been opened, used or the packaging has not been tampered with. 
  • In the event that the replacement product is valued less than the product being returned a store credit will be issued to the customer. Customers will be required pay the additional cost for products that cost more that the product being returned. 
  • If the product has been used the original packaging must accompany the product and an exchange will be given (please NOTE that no refund will be issues for products which fall into the criteria under this section of the policy).

 

Shipping Policy

Delivery - For Barbados Only

Please note that at present we only offer FREE delivery for items ordered in Barbados that are valued $50 and over.  A small fee of $5.00 will be added to purchases which are under $50.00.

The address selected during the checkout process will be utilized for delivery of items on the days and times noted below:

Tuesdays Southern locations during the hours of 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

  • Christ Church and St. Philip

Thursdays Western and North locations during the hours of 4:30 p.m. - 6.00 p .m.

  • St. James, St. Peter and St. Lucy

Saturdays All other locations during the hours of 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

  • St. Michael, St. George, St. Thomas, St. John, St. Joseph, St. Andrew

 

International Shipping Information

International Shipping Address 

Please note the address which is supplied for products to be shipped outside of Barbados will be utilized. In the event that you have provided an incorrect address for shipping please inform us ASAP via email address: hummingbirdsoapstudiobim@hotmail.com  for us to make the necessary changes if the items have not already been processed and shipped.  If the items have already been shipped, please note that all cost associated with reordering and reshipping the same must be borne by the customer.

International Shipping - Options   

A variety of options namely: FedEx, DHL or Express Mail Service EMS (Barbados Postal Service) are available for orders that are being shipped outside of Barbados.  Please note that any taxes or duties (Customs and Excise Department) which may be applied to any products that are shipped outside of Barbados must be paid by the customer upon receipt of shipment.  Please contact us at hummingbirdsoapstudiobim@hotmail.com for further information on shipping cost and amount of days required for shipping international orders.
